How it works
1. Your Career Profile
When you upload a resume we extract facts — skills, tools, employers, titles, credentials, dates and metrics. These Verified Career Facts are the only material our AI may use. You can add facts yourself at any time.
2. Job analysis
We extract the job’s title, company, location, salary, requirements, responsibilities, skills, tools, certifications and recurring terminology, and rate each term’s importance (critical / high / medium / low).
3. Transparent scoring
Your Job Match Score is a weighted average of nine components, minus a capped penalty for unsupported critical requirements. Your ATS Readiness Score covers formatting, readability, measurable achievements, keyword placement, section completeness and contact details. Weights are configurable and every component comes with an explanation. These are our estimates — not an employer’s ATS ranking.
4. Truthful tailoring
Suggestions reword, reorder and align terminology. Each suggestion is checked against your facts; anything unsupported (a skill you don’t list, a number not in your resume, a management claim, an unknown employer) is flagged and can’t be accepted until you fix it.
5. Review, export, track
Accepted changes create a new tailored resume version — your base resume is never overwritten. Export to PDF or DOCX, approve your application package, and track the application.
